7Families

Illustrations for an awareness campaign focussing on necessity and positivity.

Client: Disability Rights UK

Project Type: Illustration

  • 7 Families was an awareness campaign highlighting the issues that might arise without sufficient health insurance. It followed seven families whose lifestyles have changed following an accident or long-term illness at work. As such, the campaign’s visual identity had to treat the issues raised with sensitivity whilst remaining friendly and accessible to a wider audience.

To fulfil these requirements we created a visual identity featuring a bank of illustrations that could be used across all audience facing communication, made up of a set of people and various every-day necessities. Many of these were of items that might ordinarily be taken for granted such as the weekly shop, holidays and travel, school supplies, clothing and more. Various combinations of these illustrations were designed to help tell the families’ stories, or used as patterns and fills for logo variations and backgrounds.
